Food prices and food speculation

The World Development Movement, to which my attention was directed by a newsletter from Triodos Bank, is calling a reform of the speculator’s market in food, which is driving food prices up all over the world but especially (ten times as much) for the poorest consumers in developing countries.

What do you think should be done?
