Veta La Palma is a fish farm with a difference.  The water comes in from the Guadalquivir river (which may be contaminated); the fish live on algae and phytoplankton; so many birds come to feed there that it is one of the largest nature reserves in Europe; and the water leaving the farm is completely clean.
