“When buildings are demolished the valuable materials they contain can also go to waste with materials crushed and then burnt at incineration plants. But one recycling plant in Finland is trying to recover more of the materials which could be reused.”
The cost of a building consists of the cost of its materials, the process by which those materials were made, and the cost of disposing of them at the end of the building’s life. So more power to the Finns!
