Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust is organizing a tree planting marathon on Saturday December 5th, hoping to establish a world record.

“Two Woodland Trust sites will be competing against each other to plant the most number of trees planted by 100 volunteers in an hour in a single location.

This is happening at both Heartwood Forest, Sandridge near St. Albans in Hertfordshire and at Hainault Forest, Chigwell, near Romford in Essex.”
